beachfront are located across the street that runs along the beach (eg, Av Atlantica)) and is about a five minute cab ride to Ipanema
or a 10-15 minute walk to Leblon. The Intercontinental Rio is about a
10-15 minute cab ride to Ipanema and Barra da Tijuca is about a 20-30 minute
cab ride to Ipanema (all depending on traffic). ² These hotels feature rooftop swimming pools. The Copacabana Palace features an Olympic-sized pool and the Sofitel and the Sheraton Rio feature oceanview pools, though none rooftop. • Individual hotel pages feature hotel location maps, overviews, amenities, photographs, reviews, and prices. • Hotels don't allow registered guests to bring unregistered visitors back to their hotel rooms. |
